FULL DAY OF EATING LOW CALORIE HIGH PROTEIN MEALS while on the road, you can travel and stay on track - ~2000 Calories and 240g of Protein!
In this video, I take you thru an entire day of eating for fat loss using high protein low-calorie meals you can get from the road, no need to pre make food and bring it with you if you don’t want to, can’t, or forgot and don’t have time.
It’ll be a total of 3 meals but I end up snacking one 1 of those meals for the whole time.
Now best case senario or for optimal fat loss…
You never want to eat out, it’ll always be more accurate, less calories, more protein, and better for habit building if you make it at home…
BUT!
That’s not always realistic for most people and eating out is fun and tasty…
That’s why for myself and my 1-on-1 online coaching clients we have a maximum of 3 out to eat meals a week to limit the variability in our weekly intake, if you’re trying to optimize results you’d shoot for 0 but often that’s not always realistic so 3 is a good maximum.
A pro tip is to use out-to-eat meals that fit within your goals as rewards, you should reward yourself for good behavior.
For example: “If I stay within my calorie goal and hit my protein goal every day this week, on Saturday I’ll go get X food.”
It can be ice cream, pizza, chipotle, whatever you’d want.
Maybe that day you even eat 200-500 calories over your calorie goal or you don’t.
The point is you are rewarding yourself weekly for hitting your goals.
For some people, this can really help you stay consistent and happy.
And for others it won’t work but rewarding yourself with something else other than food might!
My favorite reward for working hard is getting to watch a movie or some episodes of a tv show.
Meal - 3 scoops protein + creatine Click here to save 20% on your first order from Legion or use code “tedshreds” at checkout.
360 cals 66g protein for 3 scoops
Meal 2 - Chipotle Bowl (light rice, light beans, double chicken, cheese, guac, queso)
~1,200 Calories and 90g Protein
Can make this even lower calorie if need/want and you can track this decently accurate but of course not as good as you can at home by making it yourself, that goes for any out to eat meal you have.
Dinner - Beef Jerky
~480 cals 90g protein
~6 oz - didn’t have scale on the road - didn’t sweat it
